Areas of low pressure over the Mediterranean facilitate heavy rain, progressively moving east. Drier with plentiful sunshine across much of the continent, some unsettled weather in central Scandinavia.

Thursday
A day of showers and sunshine for Iberia. Drier in southern parts but some more cloud here. Heavy morning rain over the Balearics passes east for sunny spells, reaching Sardinia and Corsica later in the day. Notable westerlies across Iberia, stronger over the central Mediterranean islands. Dry for Italy and often sunny, some cloud west. Fair and sunny for the Balkan States, some scattered showers in Serbia and North Macedonia. Showers and sunshine for Greece and Türkiye. Some showers in the far south may be heavy.
Very mild in France with heavy rain in central and southern areas, risk thundery near the coast. Strong winds will blow onto the west coast. Dry for the Low Countries but cloudy, this cloud extending into west Germany. Central Germany and eastwards across the continent will be broadly sunny and mild. Showery in the far southeast near the Black Sea, particularly over Bulgaria.
Mild in Denmark and southern Sweden with light rain. A broader band of rain extends from Norway into central Sweden, some showers into northern Norway. Northern parts of Sweden and Finland will be fine with some sunshine. Patchy rain and breezy in the Baltic States, though some sunny spells here too, particularly in Lithuania.

Friday
Heavy rain soon arrives into western Iberia and drifts east through the day. The day largely clear of the Balearics, rainy over Sardinia and Corsica. Rainy too on Italy's west coast and often heavy/thundery. Blustery over the central Mediterranean islands. Dry and fine in the northern Balkan States, showers in the south which extend into Greece. Showers in Türkiye too, heavy in the south.
A generally mild day across the central and eastern continent, some local cooler areas in Germany. Some showers in France, more rain in the west later. Another day of sunshine for much of the central and eastern continent, just some cloud around the Alpine countries. Some scattered showers in Romania and Bulgaria.
Dry with sunny spells in Denmark, Lithuania, and southern parts of Sweden and Norway. A band of rain sits further north, stretched across central parts of Norway, Sweden, and reaching southern Finland and Estonia. Dry further north with sunny spells but very cold.
